UK's Digital Border Enforcement Begins Tomorrow
Starting February 25, 2026, travelers from 85 visa-exempt countries including the United States, Canada, and France must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before boarding flights to the UK. This marks the full enforcement phase of a digitized immigration system that has already processed over 13.3 million applications since its October 2023 launch.
