The United Kingdom enforces its Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) scheme starting 25 February 2026, requiring nationals from 85 visa-exempt countries, including the US, Canada, and EU nations, to obtain digital pre-approval before boarding flights. British and Irish citizens remain exempt, as do legal residents of Ireland traveling within the Common Travel Area.
