Egypt joins Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Morocco, Qatar, and others in redefining tourism growth across the Middle East and Africa in 2025, recording a historic high of nearly 19 million visitors-a 21% surge over 2024 that far exceeds the global average of 5%. Charter flights to Egyptian destinations rise 32%, with New Alamein City exploding by 450%, while archaeological sites and museums draw 18.6 million visitors, up 33.5%.
