United Orders 110 New Aircraft for 2028 Delivery
United Airlines orders 110 new aircraft for delivery starting in 2028, converting options into firm orders for 50 Boeing 787-9s through 2031 and 60 Airbus A321neos through 2030. The airline secures options for 50 more 787s and purchase rights for 40 additional A321neos. This bolsters the United Next strategy, providing fleet flexibility for growth or replacement based on demand. United expects 800 new aircraft deliveries by 2032, with 75% of its fleet as new-generation by 2030.
