UK Switches to Digital Visas - Airlines Now Enforce New Rules
The UK has formally transitioned to a fully digital travel system, making eVisas mandatory for Indian travellers while introducing Electronic Travel Authorisation for visitors from 85 visa-exempt countries. Starting February 25, 2026, airlines can refuse boarding to passengers without proper digital documentation, marking the end of paper visa stickers and physical permits.
