UAE Closes Airspace, Airlines Suspend Flights
The UAE Civil Aviation Authority closes national airspace amid US-Israel strikes on Iran, prompting sweeping flight cancellations by Etihad, Emirates and global carriers. Dubai International and Al Maktoum airports suspend all operations until further notice, while Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International sees departures halted until 2 p.m. UAE time on Sunday, March 1, with pre-cutoff arrivals cancelled.
