Salt Lake Temple Opens for Public Tours in 2027

After extensive seismic and structural renovations, the historic Salt Lake Temple will welcome the public for a six-month open house from April 5 through October 1, 2027. Visitors of all ages and backgrounds will have the rare opportunity to tour the temple's interior and learn about its architecture, purpose, and symbolism. Tours run seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays, with surrounding Temple Square buildings also accessible.
