New Zealand Cuts Visitor Visa Fees for Pacific Nations

New Zealand is temporarily reducing visitor visa fees for eligible Pacific nationals starting June 1, 2026, lowering the cost from NZD $216 to NZD $161 for a 12-month period. The initiative aims to support travel and strengthen relationships with Pacific neighbors while keeping immigration settings financially sustainable. Pacific visitors already enjoy advantages over other international travelers, as they don't pay the International Visitor and Conservation Levy that applies to most countries.
