Europe is implementing two major travel systems in 2026 that will transform how visitors enter the continent. The Entry/Exit System (EES) is already operational as of October 2025 and will be fully implemented at all external borders by April 10, 2026, requiring non-EU travelers to provide biometric data including fingerprints and facial images instead of traditional passport stamps.
