Nankai Electric Railway unveils the Gran Tenku, a lavish tourist train connecting Osaka's vibrant Namba Station to sacred Mount Koya's Gokurakubashi base starting April 24, 2026. This 90-minute scenic ride glides through cedar forests, tunnels, and villages, offering panoramic views, seasonal meals, and plush seating for 70 passengers. Two daily round trips depart at 9 a.m. and 12:45 p.m., with tickets from €9.30.
