Ireland Raises Minimum Salaries for Employment Permits
Ireland raises minimum salary thresholds for all employment permit categories effective 1 March 2026. General Employment Permits increase from €34,000 to €36,605, Critical Skills Employment Permits from €38,000 to €40,904, and Intra-Company Transfer permits exceed €49,500. These changes align with the Government's 2025 Employment Permits Roadmap to attract highly skilled workers and prevent underpaid outsourcing to non-EEA staff.
