Indian women are redefining independent travel, with solo trips surging nearly ninefold year-on-year across all transport modes. Bus bookings have skyrocketed elevenfold while train and flight bookings have grown 16.5 times and 8.2 times respectively, reflecting a dramatic shift toward self-directed journeys. Beach destinations dominate preferences, accounting for over 80 percent of domestic leisure bookings, with popular choices including Goa, Port Blair, and Kerala's coastal towns.
