IHG Names Knudsen MD for Mexico, Latin America, Caribbean

IHG Hotels & Resorts appoints Michael Hoe Knudsen as Managing Director for Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean, following Jorge Apaez's retirement. Knudsen brings three decades of global hospitality experience across the Americas, Europe, and Greater China, where he recently oversaw 120 managed hotels and 45 openings. Fluent in Spanish, he started with IHG in 1996 at the InterContinental New York Barclay and held leadership roles in the U.S., Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, and Jamaica.
