India faces sharp travel declines alongside Turkey, Spain, Tunisia, Egypt, Greece, Thailand, Albania, Japan, and Indonesia due to geopolitical crises, economic instability, flight cancellations, and security fears. While outbound Indian travel surges past pre-pandemic levels with booming domestic aviation and religious circuits, inbound tourism lags from poor global marketing and slashed budgets-from Rs 33 crore in FY25 to Rs 3 crore in FY26.
