FCM Clarifies Schengen Rules for Aussies
FCM Travel guides Australian travelers through Europe's rolling out Entry/Exit System (EES), which replaces passport stamps with free biometric registration of fingerprints and facial images at Schengen borders. From October 12, 2025, visitors provide this data once upon first entry via kiosks or apps at airports, ports, and rail terminals, aiming to boost security, track overstays, and speed future crossings after initial setup.
