easyJet Opens Base at Newcastle Airport

easyJet opens its new base at Newcastle Airport with three aircraft, supporting around 1,200 jobs including 140 direct roles for pilots and cabin crew. The airline now offers 86 flights per week to 22 leisure destinations across Europe and North Africa, an 85% capacity increase from last summer. New routes launch to Antalya, Corfu, Dalaman, Enfidha, Faro, Lisbon, Malta, Nice, Prague, Reus, Rhodes, Rome, Sharm-El-Sheikh, and Tenerife.
