China-North Korea Trains Resume Today After 6 Years
Passenger train services between China and North Korea resume today after a six-year COVID suspension, signaling warming ties between the neighbors. Trains link Beijing to Pyongyang four times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, departing Beijing at 5:30 p.m. and arriving the next day at 6 p.m., with return trips leaving Pyongyang at 10:30 a.m. Daily services also run between border city Dandong and Pyongyang.
