China expands its visa-free policy to ordinary passport holders from 50 countries, including newcomers Canada and the UK, allowing stays up to 30 days for tourism, business, family visits, exchanges, or transit. The policy, effective from February 17, 2026, until December 31, 2026, covers nations like France, Germany, Australia, Japan, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia. Travelers enter via any open sea, road, or airport port and should carry invitation letters, return tickets, and accommodation proofs.
