A new study analyzing over 1.3 million Google reviews has ranked Chicago as the world's least authentic city, scoring just 2 out of 100 points on the authenticity index. The research by travel insurance provider InsureandGo examined traveler feedback across 144 popular destinations, identifying cities where reviews frequently mention "tourist traps" and "overpriced" experiences rather than "traditional" and "local" character.
